At Go Sailing San Diego We are happy to give you and your young ones the Helm, then we wait to see the smile of recognition as the feel of ‘I am in control’ takes over. So many kids get the feel and some show talent you would never expect.
Family sailing often is the reunion of family guests with their loved ones as a joyous event and something special to do together. Many reunions among siblings living in far and remote places take place here in San Diego on a sailing boats.
Life moves on but the memories of sailing as children live on and are often recalled upon here on the bay of San Diego.

With Close supervision and capable hands on board family sailing will let our young people feel the thrill of a sailing vessel as she heels to the gusts. As Children encourage each other we become more vigilant in watching their every move. Not only are we looking out for their safety but we are teaching them the basics about being on the water being safe and having a fun time. Kids are our future and sailing is a great sport and out door activity.
Family Sailing
Family Sailing is an activity for everyone to enjoy. This is an outdoor activity away from the screen that you almost have no choice but to engage in. Our different sailing tour can be configured to keep the kids entertained and happy.
At Go Sailing San Diego we provide a safe environment for our children to become familiar with the exciting world of sailing. Children get to feel the motion of the sailing boat as it leans to the wind and crosses a wake. We do encourage our sailing children to participate both in activities and the search for wild life.
Depending on your choice of sailing packages we can sail out into the ocean or remain in the shelter of the bay, excitement we can find.

With a bit of encouragement from her siblings even the youngest shine, they will steer the boat even if they cannot see where the boat is going and they will pull on lines to prove their worth. Sailing Children are engaged and present we search for wild life and get them to participate in sailing the boat. Kids are eager to prove themselves and when supervised are a pleasure to have aboard.
Children are happy and full of joy , their happy attitude is infectious and fun.
Family Sailing for all ages
Family Sailing through the years , yes we became adults and had children of our own but the reunions and special occasions brought us back to family days of decades past. Many sailing familys sailed through the seventies eighties and onwards and for many life moved on and sailing became a memory of a long lost childhood or being a parent decades ago. With aging parents and a willingness to bring back the good old days it is never surprising to be in the company of older sailors. Being on the water, sailing holds a special place in so many of us. Most sailors understand this for many others it is a much more simple approach of returning to find our past so we can be at peace and move forward,
